Events

 

The HumanDOC Festival programme includes:

 


- screenings of social advertising, including a special block by the Thomson Reuters Foundation;

 

- special screeniengs for blind and visually impaired people, as well as workshops on adapting films to the needs of people with vision and hearing impairments;

 

- special screenings called “HumanDOC na Centralnym”, which will take place at the Warsaw Central (Warszawa Centralna) railway station;

 

- morning film screenings addressed to schools;

 

- a retrospective of Andrzej Fidyk’s films, and workshops led by the director;

 

- free-of-charge film shows on IPLEX.pl from November 12 to December 12, 2011;

 

- cinema screenings in various cities of Poland;

 

- discussion panels (co-organized by the Institute of International Relations of Warsaw University);

 

- meetings with special guests, including Hans Rolling and PhD Stanisław Burzyński;

 

- meetings with Polish and foreign artists;

 

- meetings with experts and with well-known reporters from Gazeta Wyborcza;

 

- international film shows held as part of the HumanDOC festival in Georgia, Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine;

 

- screenings of the awarded films at the Kinoteka cinema in Warsaw on December 16, 2011.
